New believers
We have a mission team in that is focused on reaching the lost. We spent all day yesterday sharing the gospel. We went door to door and met people walking by on the streets. We had conversations with hundreds. All told the gospel was shared with 58 people.
Five people made a decision for Christ and another six have invited us to come back for more discussion and follow up. We have all the follow up information so the people will not be left behind as spiritual orphans. This is very exciting.
Of course whenever a person tries to reach out to people and share the gospel there will be opposition. Yesterday some doors were closed rudely on people and one lady threatended a couple of the teens.
At the end of the day as we were about to head home two police cruisers arrived on the scene. Apparently someone thought we were trying to case the neighborhood to " break into homes" and called the police. They had a few questions for us which was great. It actually was fun for the team as they were able to get pictures of the team being "interrogated". In the end the policeman thought it would be fun to play a little joke and he told me "maybe I should take them in for questioning", he said it just loud enough for them to hear.
It was a wonderful day and we are doing this again for the next three days. Pray for us today as we will be focusing on the three Indian reserves. We will be involved in prayer walks, door to door, hosting a BBQ and sharing testimonies at the native service tonight.
